About our U3A

A warm welcome to prospective new members. The U3A welcome all those who are no longer in full time employment and so can be said to be in their ‘Third Age’. This is the time when we can pursue our private interests and develop new passions in the company of like minded colleagues.

It is a principle of the U3A nationally that we draw on each other’s experience and share learning and acquire new skills and knowledge.

We hold an Open Meeting each month at St.Peter’s Church, Dormer Place, Leamington Spa, at which there is a speaker followed by refreshments and the opportunity to chat with other members. New members and prospective members are very welcome to “suss us out” and explore their interests with others. In addition we organise a variety of excursions. At the time of writing our next one is to Buckingham Palace Gardens.

So, if you are lively, energetic, curious about the world, if you like walking, languages, gardening, arts & crafts, indoor or outdoor games, music, philosophy, current affairs, natural history, reading, writing or poetry, and more, then Warwick District U3A is for you.

Have a look at our website contents, contact our Membership Secretary, Phyllis Puddifoot on 01926 779120 or come to an open meeting.

We look forward to welcoming you

Roger Williams, Chairman
